What this tool does

Flattening a PDF form makes filled fields behave like ordinary page content, so a recipient cannot accidentally tab into a field and edit it. This tool uses browser-side PDF processing to flatten AcroForm fields into the downloaded copy. It is meant for form fields, not for rasterizing every page or permanently redacting sensitive text.

How to use it

  1. Choose a fillable PDF file.
  2. Review the page and field count detected in the file.
  3. Flatten the form and download the new PDF.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded, stored or shared — closing the tab removes it.

Frequently asked questions

Does flattening make a form read-only?
It turns supported form fields into fixed page appearances, which prevents normal field editing in PDF readers.
Will it flatten every annotation type?
No. It focuses on AcroForm fields. Other annotation or layer types may remain unchanged.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file is processed in your browser and the result downloads from the page.
