Convert a date and time between time zones, including DST

Pick a source and target zone, enter a date and time, and read the converted result with both UTC offsets and the difference in hours. No clock is fetched from a server.

Choose a date and time to convert.

Everything on this page is processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

What this tool does

Time zone rules change with the seasons, so a fixed offset is only right half the year. This converter asks your browser's own internationalization data for the offset that applies on the exact date you entered, which means daylight saving is handled for you and the answer for a meeting in March is not quietly wrong by an hour.

How to use it

  1. Choose the zone your time is currently in, and the zone you want it in.
  2. Enter the date and time, or press the button to use the current one.
  3. Read the converted time, the two UTC offsets and the difference.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded, stored or shared — closing the tab removes it.

Frequently asked questions

Does this call a time API?
No. The current time comes from your own device clock and the zone rules come from the browser, so nothing is requested from a server.
Is daylight saving taken into account?
Yes. The offset is resolved for the date you entered rather than for today, so a summer date uses the summer rule.
Why is the difference sometimes not a whole number of hours?
Several zones, such as India and parts of Australia, sit on a 30 or 45 minute offset, so the difference between two zones can be a fraction of an hour.
