Split PDF
Break a PDF into smaller files by page count, entirely in your browser
Split a PDF into several smaller PDFs by choosing how many pages go in each file, then download every part. The document is processed on your device and never uploaded.
No file selected.
Everything on this page is processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
What this tool does
The tool divides the document into consecutive page ranges of the size you choose, so a 10-page PDF split into files of 3 pages produces four parts: pages 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10. Every part keeps its pages' original content, size and rotation; only the file boundaries change, and each part downloads separately.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF file.
- Set how many pages each part should contain.
- Press Split PDF and download each part.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded, stored or shared — closing the tab removes it.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the tool decide where to split?
- It counts off pages in order using the page count you set, so every part except possibly the last one has exactly that many pages.
- Can I download all the parts at once?
- Each part downloads as its own PDF file; your browser will ask to allow multiple downloads if you have several parts.
- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is read and split in your browser tab; nothing is sent to a server.
