- What unit should the paver length and width be in?
- The same unit the area's side lengths were measured in, squared; for example if the area is in square meters, enter paver length and width in meters.
- How much waste should I add for cuts?
- 10% is typical for a straightforward rectangular layout; irregular shapes, curves or a herringbone pattern often need 15% or more.
- Does this include a base layer of sand or gravel?
- No, this only counts pavers; use the sand calculator or gravel calculator separately to estimate the bedding layer underneath.
