What this tool does
Markdown tables are easy to break by hand. This generator pads each row to the header count, escapes pipe characters and gives you a ready-to-copy table that can be pasted into GitHub, docs or project notes.
How to use it
- Enter the column headers separated by commas.
- Enter one comma-separated row per line.
- Copy the generated Markdown table.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is never uploaded, stored or shared — closing the tab removes it.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the table uploaded?
- No. Rows are formatted in your browser.
- What delimiter does it use?
- Inputs use commas; the output is a standard Markdown pipe table.
- Can cells contain pipe characters?
- Yes. Pipe characters are escaped so they do not split the Markdown table.
